February 24th CannaVision hosted a grow meeting in Meridian, Texas to introduce industrial hemp farming to area farmers. It was a full day of information and a home-cooked fajita lunch, followed up by a tour of the CannaVision Meridian farm and proposed new processing facility in Cleburne, Texas. Speakers were very informative and we thank James Johnson – Hemp Expert, Caitlyn Campbell – Texas Dept of Agriculture, Chelsea Dorward – Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, Holly Hobbes – Herring Bank, Matt Powell, CannaVision Texas Farm Manager, and David Russell, CannaVision CEO.
